Cooperative managers and employees have a variety of training and development opportunities available from the cooperative system.

Management Essentials-- Challenging program for present and aspiring supervisors and managers. Program focuses on knowledge and skills necessary to improve individual and departmental performance. Sessions cover key elements of planning, marketing, finance, supervision with a constant focus on improved local cooperative performance. Program has two sessions.

Management Development
This comprehensive program focuses on knowledge and skills needed to provide leadership and planning, finance, marketing and human resources. Cost is $2,295 for the three-part series. Students may choose to attend only one session of the Management Development series at a cost of $975/session. (Cost includes materials, breaks and lunches.)

Introduction to Hedging - Today’s grain merchandising environment is a constant challenge for your employees and your business. We as a cooperative system realize that the best resource in running a business is the employee base. With these thoughts in mind, Country Hedging and Member Services have designed Introduction to Hedging session to help your employees understand the very basics of hedging used in everyday grain marketing. A basic background on hedging will be taught in this course. Hedging tools and concepts will be introduced that can be applied to grain procurement at your locations.
